Homegrown Recap: December 17, 2021 – Nikki’s New Hair, Movie Releases & The Most Festive Cities

Nikki has a new hair color and Brent thinks it looks very festive. That is exactly what she was going for, apparently. Her super red Manic Panic mane looks like a Christmas bauble.

Also seen in the picture, Nikki is sporting her oversized sweatshirt from Ellie’s Joy – which happens to be our highlighted business for the 8th day of The 13 Days of Small Business Christmas. It appropriately says, “Tired as a mother, but still festive.” Ellie’s Joy has personalized and customized apparel, coffee cups, ornaments, and all kinds of other things that would make perfect Christmas presents.

Country Music Calendar Spotlight: Happy Birthday to Tracy Byrd!

The most anticipated movies of 2022 are “The Batman”“Scream”, and “Thor: Love and Thunder”.  The most anticipated TV shows are “House of the Dragon”“Lord of the Rings”, and “Pam & Tommy”.

**Don’t forget – 1883 premieres on Sunday with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill!

Nikki brought up a good point – 5 of the 10 cities on the list of “The Most Festive Cities in America” are in the area where she grew up – that being New York City, NJ, Philadelphia and Washington DC. This is the first Christmas season she is not traveling back there for the holidays, and although she will miss it, she assures us that she is happy to be with her new family (and work family) here in Washington State.
