Homegrown Recap: Cheesecake Shortage, Christmas-like & Nikki’s Mystery Delivery

  • Happy Birthday to a Christmas legend, Brenda Lee, who turns 77 today.

  • There are a couple of movies opening up this weekend: Being The Ricardos and West Side Story.

  • Nikki is very worried that the Cake Boss’ bakery, Junior’s, is shutting down Cheesecake production because of a cream cheese shortage. #RealLifeProblems

  • Brent + Nikki reviewed Rolling Stones’ list of the top TV shows from this past year. There were A LOT on there that neither of them knew. They are going to stick to trying to catch up on Yellowstone.

  • Nikki thinks that her house was visited by some Christmas magic elves. Yesterday morning her boyfriend walked outside to warm up his car, then returned back into the house. When he went to leave for work (now 6am in the morning) there was a package on the front porch delivered from Amazon. Look at the picture…he is visibly confused by this. Who is delivering that early in the morning. When Nikki reviewed the Ring camera footage, there was no one that approached the house in that time. It had to be the elves!
