Homegrown Recap: Keith Urban sounds like Jon Bon Jovi
May 12, 2022 9:07AM PDT
- Country Music Double Feature:
- Bon Jovi first picked Keith Urban to duet his song Who says you can’t go Home with. Once recorded, Jon realized that Keith sounded a little too close to his own voice, so they decided to recut the song with Jennifer Nettles. That turned out to be a good choice, since the song ended up earning them a Grammy.
- A passenger with no flight experience safely landed a private plane at Palm Beach International Airport Tuesday afternoon after the pilot suffered a medical emergency.
- Miranda Lambert is joining the lineup at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, People reports. She’ll appear alongside Elle King, as the pair perform their No. 1 country radio hit, “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).”
- Country Music Calendar Spotlight: Happy Birthday to Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn, who turns 67 today. It was in 1995 that B&D released this rare Kix-vocal-led song that went #1.
