Homegrown Recap: December 29, 2021 – Babies, Beaches & Broken Resolutions

• This is a short work week for a lot of people, including the KKRV staff. It’s an even shorter week for Brent, who will be on vacation starting tomorrow. With lots of flights being cancelled, Nikki was joking with him that he will be staycationing and giving him tips on how to turn his house into a tropical oasis. It included turning the heat up really high and investing in a lot of really good humidifiers.

• Brent + Nikki admitted that they had a difficult start to the day. Nikki took some time to look through baby pictures of when her son was first born, and Brent looked through some old beach vacation photos and then they were both in a happier place. Beaches + Babies are Homegrown’s Happy Places!

• Neither Brent nor Nikki make a New Year’s Resolution. Brent says he tries to just “do better” each year. And Nikki says she sets intentions and goals throughout the year instead of at the beginning.
