World’s Oldest Dog Celebrates 31st Birthday

Bobi, a Portuguese dog, celebrated his 31st birthday on Thursday, making him the oldest living dog and also the oldest dog ever recorded, according to Guinness World Records. The purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo, who was declared the world’s oldest dog in February, lives in a peaceful environment in a rural village in southern Portugal, which his owner believes has contributed to his longevity. Despite having difficulties walking and experiencing a decline in his eyesight, Bobi is in good health and has received attention from journalists and people all over the world since being crowned the world’s oldest dog. Over 100 people attended his birthday party on Saturday.
