The Best and Worst Places for Fourth of July Celebrations

You don’t need a flashy destination to celebrate Fourth of July.  Just fire up the grill and invite people over.  But if you ARE looking to travel, you can’t go wrong with the festivities in a lot of bigger cities.

WalletHub put out a list of the 100 best places in the U.S. for Fourth of July celebrations.  They considered things like public fanfare and fireworks . . . affordability . . .  activities . . . weather . . . and safety and accessibility.

Los Angeles is #1.  San Francisco is #2, followed by New York City . . . Las Vegas . . . Seattle . . . San Diego . . . Orlando . . . Dallas . . . San Antonio . . . and Milwaukee.

Smaller cities didn’t fare so well.  Birmingham, Alabama ranked the LOWEST.  Two North Carolina cities were the next-worst . . . Winston-Salem and Durham.  Greensboro, North Carolina was also in the Bottom 10.
