Good News: Grandpas, Sign Language, and 100,000 Free Flights

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  A woman in Australia ignored a bunch of calls, because she thought it was a scammer.  Then after several days, she finally picked up . . . and it was the LOTTERY calling to let her know she’d won $70,000.  She’d bought a ticket for a drawing last week, but forgot to check her numbers.  So they tracked her down.

2.  A Hungarian airline called Wizz Air announced it’s offering 100,000 free flights to Ukrainian refugees.  They can fly anywhere in Europe from airports in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania, which all border Ukraine.

3.  A woman in Tampa recently told her grandfather she was pregnant by giving him a coffee mug that said “You put the GREAT in Grandpa.”  And the funny part was, he didn’t get it.  His family had to tell him what it meant . . . THEN he freaked out.  (Careful!  The video includes an S-word at :19.)

4.  A 22-year-old deli worker in Australia is going viral after she learned basic sign language to communicate with two regulars who are deaf.  She says she only learned a few phrases on YouTube to start, but now plans to keep going until she’s fluent.
