Good News: Air Jordans, Doggie Dates, and “Saxophone Santa”

Here are a few more Good News stories making the rounds . . .

1.  “Saxophone Santa” is in the news. He’s been playing holiday events in New England for 39 years.  A reporter caught up with him at a tree farm in Connecticut the other day.  He said “Jingle Bells” is still his most requested song.

2.  A homeless shelter in Portland, Oregon is auctioning off a pair of very expensive Air Jordans someone left in their donation bin, apparently on purpose.  It’s a gold pair of Air Jordan 3 sneakers, based on shoes Spike Lee commissioned to wear to the 2019 Oscars.

The designer confirmed they’re the real deal and gave them a new custom box.  They’re valued at over $10,000, but could sell for up to 20 GRAND.  (!!!)  The auction ends December 18th.  (Here’s a photo.)

3.  A dog near Toronto is going viral after he finally got to hang out with his “girlfriend” for the first time.  He’s a husky named Levi, who’d taken a liking to a dog named Ellie he saw on walks.

They’d only hung out through a chain-link fence until now.  His owner says it went great.  She definitely sees a second date in their future.  (Here’s the video.)
