Cashmere Founders Day 2024

In 1979, a group of dedicated business owners and community members celebrated Cashmere’s 75th year with a Diamond Jubilee. From that celebration evolved what is now known as Founders’ Days. With community support, we have grown from a small parade to a day of festivities for all ages.

*10am-2pm Family Fun Fair & Salmon Release at Riverside Park organized by the Cashmere Library. Families can pick up their passports at the NCW/ Happy Letters Booth and put their names in the prize drawing which will take place at 1:30 pm.
Passports will have the locations/names of the booths that kids can have stamped.
Salmon Release kicks off with an interactive short Storytime at 11:00 am after which everyone parades down to the release spot on the river where participant/ family can name their salmon fry and then gently let them swim into the river.
10:00 am – Booths open
11:00 am – Salmon Storytime and Release Parade
1:30pm- Prize Drawing- must be present to win.

*10am-2pm Beer & Cider Garden hosted by The Orchard Cider, Seltzer & Mead House will be located at Riverside Park.
*4pm-6pm Special Parade curb-side location at the corner of Woodring and Cottage Ave.
*10am-2pm Artisan & Food booths will be located at the Riverside Park this year along side the beer & cider garden.

*3pm-4pm Town Toyota Center Ping Pong Ball Drop at Riverside Park. Hundreds of ping pong balls will be dropped from a helicopter for three age groups (0-4, 5-9 & 10-13). All participants will receive a prize, each age group has 1 grand prize winner!
*5pm The Crunch Pak Grand Parade! It’s not too late… We are still accepting registration for participation in the 2024 Founders’ Day Crunch Pak Grand Parade.
