Cancer Care NCW's 30th Anniversary Celebration
Join us in celebrating a momentous milestone! Cancer Care of North Central Washington invites you to mark your calendars for September 16th, 2-4 pm as we commemorate our non-profit’s 30th Anniversary at the LocalTel Event Center in Pybus Public Market.
Learn the incredible story behind Our House, a hospitality house for cancer patients in Wenatchee, founded by the inspiring Oncology nurse, Betsy Tontini, and her fellow co-founders, Kate Brantner (formerly Karen Pell) and Mary Lowe. This event will feature a short program with Dave Shanley as our emcee, and speakers Dr. David Notter, Dr. Nicolas Kummer, and Jeff Tontini.
Before the main event, join us for the Cancer Care NCW Community Cancer Walk from 12 – 2 pm at Wenatchee Riverfront Park, a collaborative experience hosted by Cancer Care of North Central Washington & Confluence Health. Learn about cancer prevention and screening, stroll through the inflatable colon, and collect stamps for fun prizes (while supplies last). Wear your best wacky or fun socks for this fun, informational walk at your own pace.
