Coronavirus Insanity: A Porn Star Dressed as a Doctor Is Mistaken for a Healthcare Hero, Peeps Won’t Make Halloween Candy, and More

Here’s a fresh round-up of coronavirus insanity . . .

1.  The University of Mississippi created drink cups for their stadium featuring healthcare heroes.

But they must’ve just pulled pictures off an image search without vetting them . . . because one of their “doctors” is a porn star named Johnny Sins dressed as a doctor for a role.

2.  Peeps announced they WON’T be making Halloween or Christmas Peeps this year like they normally do, and they won’t be making Valentine’s Day ones for February either.  It’s because the pandemic had a serious impact on production at their factory.

3.  Meth use has jumped 20% in the U.S. since the pandemic started.

4.  A college kid at Miami University in Ohio was busted for throwing a 20-person house party on Saturday.  The cops ran his name, found he had tested positive for coronavirus, and told him he was supposed to be in quarantine.

And he said, quote, “That’s why I’m at my house.”  He could be looking at up to a $500 fine.

5.  A new study from the CDC found people who tested positive for COVID-19 were twice as likely to have eaten at a restaurant within the previous two weeks than people who tested negative.

6.  Here are the updated stats on CONFIRMED coronavirus cases as of last night.

New daily cases in the U.S.:  38,811, with 1,090 new deaths.

Total cases in the U.S.:  6.5 million, with more than 196,300 deaths . . . and more than 3.8 million who’ve now recovered.

Total cases worldwide:  28.3 million . . . with more than 913,900 deaths . . . and more than 20.3 million people who’ve beaten the virus globally.
