94% of Americans Are Not Living in Their Dream House . . . So What Is It?
A lot of homeowners take pride in their properties . . . but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t give it up TOMORROW for their dream home.
In a new survey, 94% of Americans said they’re NOT currently living in their dream home . . . but everyone has a different idea of what that would look like.
For example, 28% of people say their dream home would be in the suburbs . . . 22% would prefer a beachside home . . . 20% say their dream home is out in the country . . . 15% want to be in the heart of the city . . . and another 15% want to live in the mountains.
And people ARE being realistic. While some said their dream home would be a multimillion-dollar mansion . . . the majority of people say their dream home would cost $500,000 or less.
The most popular exterior style is: Modern, followed by Ranch . . . Victorian . . . Farmhouse . . . and Cabin. Modern was also the most popular INTERIOR style, followed by Minimalist . . . Traditional . . . Contemporary . . . and Eclectic.
And the most popular dream amenities are: A “home with a view” . . . a big backyard . . . a large family room . . . a front porch or a balcony . . . privacy . . . a “hobby room” . . . and a home theater.
