On National Siblings Day, a Couple with Ten Kids Adopted Seven More
Remember this next time you feel like you’ve got too much on your plate . . .
Gary and Lisa Fulbright live in Derby, Kansas, just outside Wichita. And they have TEN KIDS. Which sounds like a lot . . . until you find out they just adopted SEVEN MORE. Yes, that’s 17 total.
The seven kids they just adopted range in age from three years old to 12 years old, and they’re all siblings.
Their real dad took off, and their mom lost custody for neglect. So it sounds like they’re all pretty excited to be with Gary and Lisa now.
The two of them originally became foster parents to three of the seven kids about two years ago. Then they slowly got custody of the other four as well.
They eventually decided to ADOPT all seven, so they wouldn’t be split up.
And the timing couldn’t have been better. Because the adoption went through last Wednesday, on National Siblings Day.
