A Bar in L.A. Has Raised the Minimum Age for Entry . . . to 30?

Have you been at a bar, and thought, “This place would be better if the crowd was more my age?”  Well, there IS a place that’s feeling your vibe.

There’s a bar in L.A. called the Melody Bar and Grill, and they have a policy that you have to be 30 years old to get in on Friday and Saturday nights.

Two women posted a TikTok saying they were carded . . . and then rejected because they were still in their 20s.

There’s no rule against a bar doing this . . . and while it may SEEM like a questionable business strategy, a lot of older adults are celebrating the place in the comments.

One person said, “All the 30-year-olds are like, ‘Take me to the promise land.'”  Another said, “I know it hurts right now, but when you are 30 you’ll understand.”  And yet another said, “That seems nice . . . I bet the bathrooms are clean.”

Even the person who posted the TikTok admitted that they’d probably LIKE the policy in a few years, and they’re totally cool with the rule.
