Uber Will Now Return Your Packages for $5

How lazy has society gotten?  Here’s the latest . . .

Amazon already delivers anything you want to your front door.  And if you need to return it, you just drop it off at Whole Foods or a UPS Store.

But now you don’t even have to do that last part.  For $5, UBER will do it for you.

Uber is adding a new feature that lets you book a driver to come pick up any packages you need to return.

They’ll drop them off at FedEx, UPS, or your local post office for a flat fee of five bucks.  They just won’t pick up anything that cost more than $100, and it has to weigh 30 pounds or less.

A recent poll found 79% of people under 30 find mail returns “somewhat” or “very” annoying.  So that’s kind of their target market.

According to the National Retail Federation, 16.5% of retail sales end up being returned.  So that’s one in every six items.
