Wolves Howl at a Fire Alarm Because They Think It’s a Rival Pack

There’s a safari park in England named Longleat, and they’ve discovered that every time they do the weekly fire alarm test, their pack of European wolves goes into a “howling frenzy.”
One of the keepers says it’s because the wolves think the siren is a rival pack from another territory, so they’re trying to warn them to keep away.
