Somebody did a spot-on parody of every standup special on Netflix.  Here are a few highlights:  The comic always opens by naming the city they’re in, and people cheer.  They use the mic for sound effects, like a door knock or a door creaking open.

The stool is a prop that can be a machine gun, a cowboy on a horse, or even a dead body.  The bottle of water?  When they take a drink, it’s a cue to the audience to keep laughing and laughing, which they always do.

Speaking of the audience . . . every cutaway shows someone dying of laughter.  And there’s always this FINAL moment.  The comic will land a punch line, and then hurry through the “thank you good night” at lightning speed as everyone cheers.
