Two brave men visiting Utah’s Scales and Tails reptile and bird center RESCUED a female handler who was attacked by an alligator on Saturday.  It grabbed her hand, so she had to go into the shallow pool to keep it from twisting her hand off.

That’s when both guys went into the enclosure.  One of them jumped into the water and ONTO the gator’s back.  The handler managed to stay calm while telling him what to do until it finally let her go.  The other man pulled her to safety.

But the first guy was STILL on the gator’s back.  The handler stayed nearby and gave him more instructions until he was able to hightail it out of the pool.

Everyone survived, and the handler posted an update from the hospital that she WILL have “full use” of her hand.
