Did This Marriage Proposal Get Rejected Because He Only Knew Her for a Week?

A guy proposed to a woman he only knew for a week, and she rejected him immediately.  He did it in front of a bunch of people at a music club in Orem, Utah.  It looks like a setup because he stayed there looking shattered for a little too long.
