The Unhealthiest Snacks on the Planet . . . and Yeah, They’re Coming for Zebra Cakes

Let’s be honest:  No one who’s looking for a vitamin-packed, nutrient-rich snack is reaching for a Little Debbie Zebra Cake.  But are they really the WORST?

The blog ‘Eat This, Not That’ has a list of the “40 Unhealthiest Snacks on the Planet,” and Zebra Cakes is #1.  Which seems dramatic . . . but with 34 grams of added sugar, one cake does exceed your recommended daily intake.

Each cake also has 320 calories . . . 14 grams of fat, including eight grams of saturated fat . . . 150 milligrams of sodium . . . 47 grams of carbs . . . and two grams of protein.  (They shoulda led with that one.)
