The Top 10 Ways a Day Can Feel “More Joyful” for Parents
If you’re a parent, it probably doesn’t take much to derail a day . . . but it also doesn’t take much to make a day BETTER.
A new survey asked Millennial parents with children under 18 what things can make a day feel “more joyful,” and the top 10 responses were:
1. Making my kids laugh
2. Being silly with my kids
3. Cuddling with my kids
4. Having nice weather
5. Doing something spontaneous and fun
6. Spending more time with my kids at home
7. Experiencing something for the first time with my kids
8. Spending time outdoors
9. Learning new things alongside my kids
10. Finding a new mutual interest or hobby with my kids.
Overall, 91% of parents believe finding “everyday moments of joy in the day” can have a positive impact . . . both on their own wellbeing AND for their kids.
(I guess the other 9% aren’t buying it?)
