The NCW Community Toy Drive receives a $50,000 donation from Dynalectric

In an earlier What’s Up Wenatchee? podcast Eric Granstrom discussed the plans for this year’s  NCW Community Toy Drive presented by Les Schwab. He reminisced on the history of where the toy drive started and how far it’s come. Since that podcast first aired the toy drive has collected a plethora of donations from the surrounding community. From donating their time and energy to money and toys, it has been a wonderful movement just in this month alone.

But we wanted to give an update on something really remarkable that’s happened. A group of people from a company called Dynalectric have been working on the EAT 02 site in East Wenatchee. They were looking for a project to get involved in during this time of year to allow their employees and subcontractors to give to the community that they were taking out of.

Nikki Darling got to sit down with a few of the men involved: Terrence from Stetner Electric, Scott Connor, who is the Site Supervisor at the EAT 02 Hyperscale Data Center in East Wenatchee, and Kyle Lineman, who’s the Construction Manager, and the person who spearheaded this entire movement.

After all donations were collected, Dynalectric presented the NCW Community Toy drive with toys and money upwards of $50,000!

What was the motivation behind their giving? How were they able to meet and almost double their giving goal?
