Super Bowl Ads: Will Ferrell Teams Up with Netflix and GM, and Sylvester Stallone Gets Sneezed Off the Side of a Mountain

Here’s the latest round of Super Bowl ads and teasers to ruin the surprise for you more than a week before the actual game:

1.  Netflix and General Motors have teamed up for an ad featuring Will Ferrell driving GM electric vehicles through Netflix shows like “Squid Game”, “Bridgerton”, and “Army of the Dead”.

2.  Sylvester Stallone and his daughters hype their upcoming Paramount+ reality show “The Family Stallone”, by appearing in one of those “Paramount Mountain” commercials.  The ad has a gigantic stone face of Stallone on the side of a mountain, with the REAL Stallone hanging from the nose . . . until he gets sneezed off.

3.  Steve Martin calls Ben Stiller a NEPO BABY in a teaser for their Pepsi Zero Sugar ad.

 

Some new Super Bowl ads and teasers dropped yesterday.  Here are the details:

1.  Budweiser went with a “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” theme, showing how a six pack connects people.  Kevin’s not in it, but he NARRATES it.  (Check it out here.)

2.  The online shopping rebate site Rakuten enlisted Alicia Silverstone to play Cher from “Clueless” again.

3.  Michelob Ultra released its full, “Caddyshack”-themed ad, featuring Serena Williams, Tony Romo, Brian Cox from “Succession”, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler, WNBA player Nneka Ogwumike. . .

Women’s soccer star Alex Morgan, and boxer Canelo Alvarez.

There’s also a cameo from Michael O’Keefe, who played young Danny Noonan in the original “Caddyshack”.  He’s the guy who tells Serena to “be the ball.”
