The “Space Jam 2” trailer dropped over the weekend, featuring an insane amount of cameos from Warner Brothers characters.  They include the Flintstones, King Kong, the Iron Giant, the Jetsons, the flying monkeys from “The Wizard of Oz” . . .

Plus shoutouts to the worlds of Batman, Superman, “The Maltese Falcon”“Mad Max: Fury Road”“Game of Thrones”, and “Zoolander”.  Heck they even tossed in members of The Herculoids.  (???)

But the most interesting characters to show up are the Droogs from the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film “A Clockwork Orange” . . . which is absolutely not in any way, shape, or form a children’s movie.

The Droogs themselves are a violent gang of juvenile delinquents who commit crimes including assault, robbery, and rape.

After the trailer hit YouTube, it took about half a minute for people to start pointing out that Warner Brothers cut PEPE LE PEW from the movie because he supposedly normalizes rape culture.
