More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak

Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  A bunch of people in Portland, Oregon were lined up to apply for COVID-relief money, when some guy pulled up and started handing out $100 bills.  One person said the guy handed out $10,000 total.

2.  Aquariums have seen a huge rise in people watching their live webcams to cheer themselves up.  One in Georgia has had a 3,000% increase in traffic.

3.  A waitress at a Red Lobster in Lincoln, Nebraska got a nice, big $100 tip, along with a note thanking her for wearing a mask.  The person said they did it after they saw a story about an anti-masker in Nebraska tipping someone five cents.

4.  A bunch of Girl Scouts in Denver made masks for all the teachers and staff members at their school, along with 40 sneeze guards for classrooms.

5.  The makers of American Girl dolls unveiled five one-of-a-kind dolls modeled after real-life frontline workers.  Kids across the country got to nominate them for it.  The winners include an EMT from Virginia, along with a teacher, nurse, pilot, and a 17-year-old grocery store worker.
