Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  American Airlines and Hyatt Hotels surprised 4,000 healthcare workers in New York with free vacations.

2.  A family in Michigan sang “You Are My Sunshine” outside their grandmother’s nursing home on Mother’s Day.  Now the video is trending online.

3.  Two brothers who are both doctors couldn’t wear face masks and keep seeing patients unless they shaved their beards.  They’re both followers of the Sikh religion, where men aren’t supposed to shave.  So they talked with friends, and decided their religion’s other tenet of “selfless service” is more important right now.

4.  A woman in D.C. who survived the Spanish Flu when she was six years old just beat COVID-19 at 107.

5.  And finally, WE’VE got some new competition.  A bunch of residents at a senior living home in Tennessee launched a new radio show during the pandemic that they record from their rooms.  And seniors in other states can sign up to co-host it too.

It’s an hour-long show called “Radio Recliner,” where they take turns DJ-ing . . . tell stories . . . and play their favorite songs.  They even do requests and dedications.  You can check it out at RadioRecliner.com.
