It’s National Beach Day! A Lucky 2% of Us Visit the Beach 365 Days a Year

It’s National Beach Day!  So did you make it to the beach this summer?  Or is popping a Corona and dipping your feet in a baby pool good enough?

A recent survey asked people how often they go to the beach, and a lucky 2% of Americans said they go to the beach EVERY DAY.

The most popular answer was once a summer, or once a year.  47% said one of those two.  Another 19% said every few years, and 7% of us have never been to the beach.

2% said they go every day . . . 10% said once a week . . . and 15% said once a month.

The poll also found our favorite thing to drink at the beach is water, followed by lemonade, beer, soda, and daiquiris.

Our favorite sunscreen brands are Banana Boat, Coppertone, and Hawaiian Tropic.  But around 1 in 8 people said they never wear sunblock.

And finally, 29% of people have gotten FRISKY at the beach before . . . and another 43% want to.
