It’s International Kissing Day! Only 12% of Us Had a Bad First Kiss

It’s International Kissing Day, when we celebrate the simple pleasure of locking lips.  So here’s a question:  Think back on your FIRST kiss.  Was it good, bad, or a total disaster?

Over 10,000 Americans were polled, and only 12% said their first kiss was bad.

51% said good or very good . . . 21% said just okay . . . 8% said somewhat bad . . . and 4% said VERY bad.  Another 11% can’t remember, and 4% of adults have still never been kissed.  Most were young people under 25 though.

Here are a few more quick stats for International Kissing Day . . .

1.  How old were you when you had your first kiss?  The most common answer is middle school, 36%.  High school is next at 26% . . . 22% had their first kiss in elementary school . . . and 11% were over 18.

2.  Most of us think we’re a good kisser.  74% said “good,” “great,” or “amazing.”  Only 2% said “horrible.”

3.  The #1 thing that can make you a bad kisser is having bad breath.  The rest of the top five are too much tongue . . . allowing your TEETH to be involved . . . not ENOUGH tongue . . . and kissing with your eyes open.
