A survey last week found America’s favorite vegetable is broccoli.  It wasn’t even close, and all the broccoli-haters out there were extremely SHOOK.

Now this adds to the controversy.  Because another new survey just came out where CORN and POTATOES tied for first.  And broccoli is way down in 8th place.

For this one, people could pick more than one vegetable they like.  And 91% said they love corn and potatoes, compared to 85% who enjoy broccoli.

According to the results, our ten favorite veggies are:  Corn . . . potatoes . . . carrots . . . tomatoes . . . onions . . . green beans . . . cucumbers . . . broccoli . . . cabbage . . . and peas.  (Cabbage might be the biggest dark horse in there at #9.)

But here’s the question your inner six-year-old was waiting for.  The new survey also asked people which veggies they HATE the most.

The ten most-hated vegetables are:  Turnips . . . beets . . . radishes . . . Brussels sprouts . . . artichokes . . . eggplant . . . butternut squash . . . zucchini . . . mushrooms . . . and asparagus.

The survey also found 72% of us wish we ate more veggies.  67% of us feel guilty about it.  And the #1 reason we don’t buy them is . . . we never eat them, so they just rot in the fridge.
