Homegrown Recap: The Dad Bod Festival has been CANCELLED!

As I explained – I reallllly tried, you guys. I wanted the Dad Bod parade to happen SO badly. Nit picking weenie said it was a no go. So all you super fantastic, magical dad bods out there will have to strut your peacock grandeur individually. But, do us proud, dads. We’ll be watching!!
- On a similar note: Father’s Day is NOT this weekend. We ARE giving the Dad Bod Local Prize pack away today but Father’s Day is NEXT weekend.
- Some things NOT cancelled this weekend:
- Help keep this year’s 4th of July Fireworks safe by donating to fund the professional fireworks.
- We said Happy Birthday to Lee Brice this morning for our Country Music Calendar Spotlight!
- After a few weeks of having the Scoot Scoots in Wenatchee there have been mixed perceptions. The Mayor thinks the feedback has been mostly positive. A lot of the original questions that were lingering have been answered. There are still a few more weeks of the experimental trial before the final decision to either keep them or not will be made.
- The Ghosts of TV PAST, PRESENT, & FUTURE:
- Past: On this day in 2007 the Season Finale of the Sopranos aired
- Present: Drake Milligan Aces ‘America’s Got Talent’ Audition, Dubbed the ‘New Elvis of Country’
- Future: Trace Adkins’ long-awaited new country music-themed television drama has finally set a premiere date. Monarch, which stars Adkins and screen legend Susan Sarandon, will premiere on Fox on Sunday, Sept. 11, the network revealed on Monday (June 6). Monarch was originally announced in September of 2021 and initially scheduled to premiere in January of 2022.
