  • Interact w/Homegrown: What are your Thanksgiving pet peeves. For Brent they are traveling to and from on the same day during the holiday & olives in food. For Nikki she can’t take fruit or nuts in stuffing and touchy topics being brought up at the dinner table.

  • Comb Luke’s Lyrics: Congratulations to today’s winner, Terri, who has to take her husband now that she won tickets to see Luke Comb’s in June. Here was today’s stumper:
    • Lyrics: “Thunder n’ lightning” Answer: “Hurricane”

      In context:
The moon went hidingStars quit shiningRain was driving

      Thunder ‘n lightning

You wrecked my whole world when you came

And hit me like a hurricane

  • Both Brent’s Seahawks and Nikki’s NY Giants are going into the weekend with a 3-6 record. Not great. But with the Hawks going up against the 8-2 Cardinals, Nikki thinks her Giants have a better chance at pulling ahead after they take on the 6-3 Buccaneers this weekend.

Homegrown w/Brent + Nikki can be heard weekdays from 6-10am on Country 104.7fm, online at or on the Audacy app.
