Homegrown Recap: November 11, 2021

• The biggest night in Country Music did NOT disappoint. Both Brent + Nikki thought Luke Bryan did a good job with hosting the CMAs. It was Chris Stapleton’s night. Nikki doesn’t understand how he could win in almost every category but still lose the Entertainer of the Year award. Luke Combs took home the big award for the night. Here are some of our favorite moments:

• Country Calendar Spotlight: It was 12 years ago that Taylor Swift took home the CMA Entertainer of the Year Award. We reminisced with her smash hit Love Story 
• Interact w/Homegrown: In honor of Veteran’s Day we asked you to Thank a Veteran either by calling in, texting or by comment on the Facebook page.
• Congratulations to Joyce who won a pair of tickets to go to the Wenatchee Wild Hockey game tomorrow night. She correctly identified a well-known Country musician who has served in the military. Some notable ones are Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, George Strait, George Jones, Conway Twitty and Craig Morgan. Thank you to all the Veterans for your service.
