Homegrown Recap: January 25, 2022 – Never Say Never, the Wine Cure & Candy Hearts
  • Interact w/Homegrown: Conversation hearts are adding words of encouragement sweethearts. What message would you add?

  • Homegrown is giving away pairs of tickets to the Numerica Performing Arts Center’s Cold Winter Night’s Show on Saturday night. It features a very funny comedian, Andrew Orolfo.  Tickets are still available at numericapac.org

    • ABOUT ANDREW

Filipino American, Andrew Orolfo has been named one of the country’s “top knot” comedians by… don’t even ask, just go with it. An established staple in San Francisco comedy, he has been featured in SF Sketchfest, High Plains Comedy Festival and Comedy Central Clusterfest. He can be heard on Sirius XM Radio and seen on Comedy Central, The Late Late Show with James Corden as well as Jo Koy: In His Elements on Netflix.

  • Country Music Calendar Spotlight: On this day back in 2012, Luke Bryan got his 4th number 1 with I Don’t Want This Night To End.

  • McDonald’s is now offering a Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry. It looks like it has some crushed up peanut butter cookies in it with some chocolate. Nikki is upset that they feel like they always need to pair chocolate with peanut butter, and believes pb is good enough on it’s own!

  • Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson released the music video for Never Say Never. The premise is that a prison guard falls in love with an inmate. You’ll never guess how it ends.

  • A major British study shows that a few glasses of Pinot might lower your risk of contracting Covid. First, the good news: Red wine, white wine and Champagne may reduce your risk of getting Covid-19 – especially red wine! But here’s a little bad news: Drinking beer and cider might actually increase your risk of getting Covid-19, as might drinking too much of anything.

Homegrown w/Brent + Nikki can be heard weekdays from 5:30-10am on Country 104.7fm, online at KKRV.com or on the Audacy app.
