  • Fraggle Rock is back after 35 years — and, of course, Dave Grohl is involved. On Friday, as Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock premiered on Apple TV+, Foo Fighters released “Fraggle Rock Rock,” a song inspired by the Jim Henson show’s original theme song.

  • Country Music Calendar Spotlight: Back in 2009 Brooks & Dunn got their 20th #1 song on this day with Cowgirls Don’t Cry

  • Nikki correctly picked 3 out of 4 of the NFL Divisional Playoff games. Brent was surprised at how entertained he was by football this weekend despite none of his teams being in the playoffs.

  • Jump Start Trivia: Our winner this morning won a dozen donuts from Sure To Rise Bakery.
    • Q: California has three. Florida has 3. Ohio has two. Massachusetts has one. What is it?
    • A: NFL teams

  • Watch Eric Church Pay Tribute To Meat Loaf With ‘I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)’ Cover

  • Brent loved pointing out that him and Nikki spent their weekends in vastly different ways. Brent played two gigs with his band, Whisky Trail, both Friday and Saturday. Nikki worked on her home studio and washed the walls before hanging some pictures they had made as Christmas presents.

Homegrown w/Brent + Nikki can be heard weekdays from 5:30-10am on Country 104.7fm, online at KKRV.com or on the Audacy app.
