Good News: People Tipped a Random Musician $85,000 on Twitch

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  If you missed it, this was a pretty cool moment:  NASA’s tiny helicopter made a successful first flight on MARS yesterday morning.  It hovered about 10 feet off the ground for 39 seconds.  It’s the first powered, controlled flight we’ve ever done on another planet.

2.  A random musician named Cameron Ferguson was playing songs on Twitch the other day.  And literally NO ONE was watching.

There were zero viewers until a guy who’s big in the cryptocurrency world noticed him . . . thought he was good . . . and got others to watch.  And in four hours, they tipped him over $85,000.  (At least $10,000 of it was in Dogecoin, which is way up since then.  So it might actually be more than $85,000 now.)

3.  Another pandemic couple is in the news:  98-year-old Bill Biega and 91-year-old Iris Ivers both live in a retirement community in New Jersey and started dating early last year.  So when COVID hit, they had to resort to visiting each other in SECRET.

In July, a security guard caught Bill sneaking back into his apartment and gave him a choice.  He could follow the stay-at-home order and stop sneaking out . . . or move in with her.  So they moved in together.  And now a year later, the stay-at-home order is lifted, and they’re both vaccinated.  But they’ve decided to make the move permanent.
