Good News: A Cleaning Lady’s Clients Rented Her the Penthouse in Their Building

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  Members of a church in Pittsburgh took over a supermarket on Saturday . . . bought groceries for 200 people . . . and gave all 77 employees a $50 gift card.

2.  A guy in Oklahoma had some extra time on his hands because of the lockdowns.  So he spent four months converting an old van into the Mystery Machine from “Scooby-Doo”.  Now he’s selling food out of it, and donating proceeds to charity.

3.  And this might be the best good news story ever:  A cleaning lady in New York lost her job during COVID, and had to move in with her sister after working at the same upscale apartment building for 20 years.  But everyone who lives there loves her.  So they pooled their money . . . and moved her into the PENTHOUSE.

It’s a newly renovated four-bedroom with two massive rooftop terraces.  And they covered her rent for TWO YEARS.  We’re not sure how much it is, but the average rent in Manhattan is $3,800 a month.  So it cost a LOT more than that.

When she showed up, she thought the building manager hired her to clean the place.  But instead, he showed her around . . . handed her the keys . . . and she broke down in tears.  And the whole thing is on video.
