Four Things to Look Forward to in July

It’s a new month tomorrow, and we’ve got America’s birthday coming up next week.

Here are a few more things to look forward to in July . . .

1. In sports, Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game goes down on July 11th. The “ESPY Awards” are the following night on July 12th. The Tour de France starts tomorrow. And Wimbledon begins on Monday.

2. A few big movies are on the way, including “Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One” on July 12th . . .“Oppenheimer” and “Barbie”, both out July 21st . . . and “Haunted Mansion” on July 28th.

3. On TV this month, the new Netflix show “Quarterback” premieres on July 12th . . . “CMA Fest” will air on ABC and Hulu on July 19th . . . the revival of “Futurama” hits Hulu on July 24th . . . and Season 3 Part 2 of “The Witcher” hits Netflix on July 27th.

4. And finally, the holidays: The big one is the Fourth of July on Tuesday, but here are a few more you might want to mark on your calendar . . . National Disco Day is this Sunday . . . National Bikini Day is on July 5th . . . National Video Game Day is July 8th . . . Amazon Prime Day is July 11th and 12th . . . National Ice Cream Day is July 16th . . . and National Cheesecake Day is July 30th.
