| Prepare for an evening of tempting, toe-tapping tunes and jaunty jazz as Wenatchee Big Band takes the stage Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Snowy Owl Theater for Cascade Medical Foundation’s Jive Time in the Cascades. The community-based 20-piece jazz ensemble will hit the high, the low and the soulful sounds of the swing and jazz standards and popular crowd favorites. Think Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and more. It’s all part of this fundraising concert to benefit the Foundation’s ongoing campaign to support Cascade Medical. In addition to great music, look for the Buy It Now Board, with deals on gift cards and gift packages donated by local businesses. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the music starting at 6:30. Tickets are $40, available at icicl.org. Concert-goers can make a full evening of it at a pre-concert social featuring a gourmet charcuterie table by Modern Mountain Creations, packed with meats, cheeses, nuts, fresh fruits and so much more. Tickets are $25. Pre-sale only. The pre-concert event runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Jive Time in the Cascades is one more way the Foundation brings the community together while supporting its fundraising mission.
