Wellness Place’s Ladies Night Out

Are you in need of a night out with the girls? Maybe a chance for some you time? Oh and have you thought about your breast health recently? Have you or someone you know, been offered 3D mammography? Confluence Health is pleased to present an informative (and fun!) session on the benefits of 3D Tomosynthesis breast imaging. Join their two new Breast Imagers as they walk you through this process and answer questions you may have. Drinks and snacks will be provided by the Wellness Place of Wenatchee. Throw on some green and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, while taking care of you at the same time!

Confluence Health, Wenatchee Valley Hospital, has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, breast MRI, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy).
Presenters are Linda Chen, MD, Radiologist and Joanna Jeong, MD, Radiologist and additional members of the Confluence Team. Dr. Chen earned a BS from the University of Washington (UW) and her MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She comes to the area after serving as the Senior Fellow & Acting Instructor in Breast Imaging at the Seattle Cancer

Care Alliance and UW Department of Radiology. Dr. Jeong earned an MS from Georgetown University in DC and her MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Before coming to Wenatchee she completed her Fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

The Wellness Place of Wenatchee gives compassionate support and FREE resources to individuals, their families and caregivers through their cancer journey, from diagnosis to survivorship, for those residing in Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan counties.
