Kitten Shower!
May 11, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Of the over 1,000 kittens Wenatchee Valley Humane Society intakes annually, nearly 100 are neonatal kittens. These kittens need extensive care, including round-the-clock bottle feeding. Continuing our commitment to best serve animals in our care, WVHS has opened a kitten nursery. The nursery houses the tiny, neonatal kittens until they move to foster care; where they remain until they weigh enough to be spay or neutered (then moved up for adoption to fur-ever homes).
Please come celebrate the opening of this exciting addition! We will have cake, fun shower games, information on how to become a foster, and a bottle feeding demonstration. The celebration is open house style, so stop by any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and help us celebrate! Bottle Feeding demo is scheduled for noon.
To help care for these itty bitty kitties, we’ve also created a shower registry and appreciate any gifts our ‘guests’ bring. Even if you can’t make it, you can still make a big impact on little lives! We’ve registered with Amazon.com and they can ship your gift donation directly to us! Visit: bit.ly/wvhskittenshower
The kittens will be so appreciative of your commitment to help them thrive through this fragile part in their lives! Thank you
