Covid Chaos: You Can Now Unlock Your iPhone with Your Face While You’re Wearing Your Mask

Here’s a fresh round-up of Covid insanity . . .

1.  Apple started rolling out an update for the operating system for iPhones yesterday . . . and one of the biggest changes is you’ll be able to use the “Face ID” to unlock your phone even while you’re wearing a mask.

You can install it by going to Settings, then tapping General, then tapping Software Update.

2.  The world’s most elite SEX CLUB is opening again.  It’s called Snctm and it’s in New York City . . . they’re holding their first big event since the pandemic on May 15th.  If you’re interested, their memberships can cost around $80,000-a-year.

3.  Casa Bonita . . . which is a famous Mexican restaurant in Denver with live entertainment . . . is about to have to shut down because of how much money it lost during the pandemic.

Several dozen people stood outside of the restaurant on Saturday to try to raise money to keep it from going out of business.

4.  Remember earlier this year when the company Emergent BioSolutions accidentally ruined 15 million vaccine doses?  It turns out the CEO dumped $10 million in stock right before that news came out, but after the destruction happened.

It was his first big stock sale since April of 2016, and now that stock would be worth half of what he sold it for.

5.  The pandemic has been a “perfect storm” of trouble for HOARDERS, according to experts.  They’re isolated at home with their stuff all the time, it’s harder for them to get access to help, and places that take donations might be closed if they do want to clean up.

6.  The Running of the Bulls in Spain has been canceled for the second straight year because of the pandemic.

7.  Here are the updated stats on vaccinations and Covid cases as of last night . . .

Covid vaccinations in the U.S.:  140.9 million people have received at least one dose or 42.5% of the population.  95.8 million people, or 28.9%, are fully vaccinated.

New daily cases in the U.S.:  47,456, with 455 new deaths.  That brings the total to 32.8 million cases . . . with more than 586,000 deaths . . . and more than 25.4 million who’ve now recovered.

Total cases worldwide:  148.4 million . . . with more than 3.1 million deaths . . . and more than 126 million people who’ve beaten the virus globally.
