Covid Chaos: Two-Thirds of Americans Will Take a Trip This Summer

Here’s a fresh round-up of Covid insanity . . .

1.  People are DEFINITELY ready to travel again.  67% of Americans are planning a summer trip.  And 53% will spend more on trips this year than last year.

2.  Some fast food joints are having trouble staffing up now after the pandemic.  One McDonald’s in South Florida is paying people $50 just to come interview.

3.  An annual town crier competition in the U.K. is going to be held in SILENCE this year because of the pandemic.

4.  Here are the updated stats on vaccinations and Covid cases as of last night . . .

Covid vaccinations in the U.S.:  133.2 million people have received at least one dose or 40.1% of the population.  86.2 million people, or 26%, are fully vaccinated.

New daily cases in the U.S.:  60,317, with 883 new deaths.  That brings the total to 32.5 million cases . . . with more than 582,000 deaths . . . and more than 25.1 million who’ve now recovered.

Total cases worldwide:  143.5 million . . . with more than 3 million deaths . . . and more than 121.8 million people who’ve beaten the virus globally.
