A Kid’s Birthday Wish Was to Get Picked Up from School by Jason from “Friday the 13th”

Props to this kid’s dad for taking him seriously and not just laughing this off:  A kid in England named Carter Murphy had a birthday about a week ago.  We’re not sure how old he is, but he looks about 9 or 10.  And he had a weird request.

For his birthday, he wanted to get picked up from school by JASON . . . the villain from the “Friday the 13th” movies.

It doesn’t sound like he’s being bullied, or needed protection.  He’s just a big fan.

So his dad got in touch with a special effects guy who agreed to dress up as Jason.

Carter’s dad checked with the school first, and they didn’t want Jason to actually approach the building, for obvious reasons.  So he met Carter around the corner, and his costume was VERY solid.  Now photos of it are going viral.

Carter’s dad says he freaked out and won’t stop talking about it.
