A Firefighter Proposed to a Teacher During a Fire Drill at School
A woman named Allison Hunt teaches at a high school in Louisville, Kentucky. And they had a fire drill lastFriday. But it wasn’t a normal drill . . .
One of the firefighters who showed up for it was Tom Cecil, who’s a captain with the Louisville Fire Department . . . and also happens to be Allison’s boyfriend.
And once all the students and staff were outside for the drill, he walked up to her . . . got down on one knee . . . and PROPOSED.
He caught Allison totally off guard. It turns out he switched shifts with another guy, so he could be there for the drill. And Allison’s students went nuts when she said yes.
Someone who’s apparently still using a 10-year-old flip phone got a VERY grainy video of it. But there are some pretty good photos too.
(Here’s a grainy video.)
Best fire drill ever! Congratulations, Allison Hunt, on your engagement! @duPontManual @ManualAthletics @YPASlouisville @ManualPTSA pic.twitter.com/ENMXwp4X2e
