Keith Urban and John Mayer at The Gorge Amphitheater. I was a fan going in, but now I'm a much bigger fan. Can you name a better all-around musician than Keith Urban?

Luke Bryan was our 2010 Waterville Star. We packed out the place! A fantastic turnout, maybe the best ever, for the NCW District Fair concert. Start thinking about who you'd like to see next year. A big thanks to the Wenatchee Wild for bringing along the entire team.

Talk about an all-around cool guy. So Darius Rucker, former frontman for Hootie and the Blowfish, releases his first country CD. The first two singles: "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" and "It Won't Be Like This For Long" both go to number one. And his new song, "Alright," may be even better than the first two. As a live performer, he is stellar.
Caught him in Auburn at a show our friends at KMPS in Seattle have been doing with Auburn Rotary for 26 years. Hats off to Becky Brenner and her crew for a great night. It's why they are one of America's great country radio stations.

One of the fun things about traveling is food. If you have a chance to get to Nashville, you'll find lots of great barbeque. Also learned that pralines are pronounced "PRAW leans," not "PRAY leans." Matt from Alaska took us to a store called Praylines by Leon. Wow. They now top Goo Goo Clusters on my list. Another "must see" in Nashville is Hatch Show Prints on Broadway. It's now operated in association with the Country Music Hall of Fame. Amazing, historical prints made the old-fashioned way.

Just got back from Nashville last night. Sure is strange to go from sunshine and 75 degrees back to snow last night. Real slippery last night, even a fender bender right in front of our new studios by Albertsons.
Had a chance to visit breifly in Nashville with Bucky Covington who's coming to Waterville this summer. Also saw Chris Young who will be opening for Lonestar. If you don't know him, check his my space or Facebook page. Maybe you just know him as the season four "Nashville Star" winner. He'll be great. Also saw Montgomery Gentry Thursday night and we visited about the Wenatchee and Seattle shows. Brent and Gary will have more info on those shows Friday morning. Oops, sorry...no Gary this week. He's gone skiing. It's Brent & Eric Granstrom riding the controls.
John Windus helps you get through the work day with 12 great country songs in a row. It's the most country guaranteed.
If you like listening online, try our streaming player. The boss will think you're slaving over a hot computer but you'll be jammin' to your favorite country songs!
