A Guy Hauling 36 Pounds of Meth Thinks He’s Being Followed, and Calls the Cops

A 27-year-old guy was driving through Utah on Sunday, and thought two cars were following him.  So he pulled over at a rest stop and called the cops.

But when they showed up, they could tell he was on something.  So they searched his truck . . . and ended up finding some pot, and over 36 pounds of METH he was hauling.

Apparently he’d either been smoking pot or doing meth while he was driving, and that’s why he got paranoid.  It’s not clear if anyone was really following him or not.

When they asked for I.D., he gave them a passport that turned out to be fake.  They’re still trying to figure out what his real name is.

He’s facing charges for forgery, possession of marijuana, and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
