The Historic Home Tour offers visitors a rare opportunity to explore private historic homes that are not generally open to the public.
There are seven buildings on the tour this spring, most of them from the City’s Grandview Historic District. Additional tour highlights include the “Home of Peace” (850 S. Miller Street) Mausoleum, the Gensinger House in East Wenatchee and Wenatchee’s Wells House.
This is a self-guided tour, with docents available at each home to answer questions.
Includes a reception from 4:30 to 6:30pm at the museum with light snacks and a no-host bar.
Check out the exhibit at the museum on local architect Ludwig Solberg to understand more about some of the city’s architectural history now through August. Presented by the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center in cooperation with the City of Wenatchee Historic Preservation Board.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
