Lake Chelan Recreation Association sponsors the 17th Annual Slam'N Jam. Played in the parking lot at Don Morse Memorial Park.

Wellness Walkers (Health/Wellness)
Time: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Location: Walla Walla Point Park

Wellness Walkers is a walking program that encourages people with a chronic illness and/or cancer diagnosis to walk in a supportive atmosphere.

Wenatchee River Clean-Up (Environmental)
Time: 9:00 AM to 11:59 AM
Location: Cashmere Riverside Park and other access points

Volunteers are needed for the second annual event. Lunch and live entertainment by Chelsey Craven will follow.

Junior Special Olympics Day (Sports)
Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Location: Pioneer Park

Wenatchee Parks and Recreation is holding a free Junior Special Olympics Day for kids between the ages of five and 18 who have developmental disabilities. Come to Pioneer Park from 9:30am to 1pm for Special Olympics sports like basketball, softball, soccer, golf, and swimming.
